About Morantex

Morantex™ is a software technology company located in Delaware, USA.

One of our foremost goals is to establish the company as a reputable, trusted and respected source of products with which others may leverage the potential of 64-bit computing and multi-core hardware.

Innovation is important to us, as are the quality and integrity of our products and services.

Morantex was founded in 2005 by Hugh Moran. Mr. Moran has over thirty years experience in both software development and project management. He has worked directly on numerous mission critical projects and applications including trading systems, brokerage systems, data feeds,  communications and protocols, often on fault-tolerant hardware, for a variety of reputable companies. He is a member of the Project Management Institute.

Mr. Moran was Front Office Development Manager at Tullett & Tokyo Stockbrokers, Senior Architect at FT Interactive Data (Formerly Extel Financial) Project Manager at Travelex and Development Manager at Mizuho (formerly Daichi Kangyo, in London).  He has also served at The London Stock Exchange, Lloyds of London, SEMA, Prudential-Bache Securities, Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Bayerische Vereinsbank AG, CHASE and other notable firms in the securities and investment banking industry.

In addition, Mr. Moran has, at various times, written for technical journals, run a technical training business and served as a technical consultant with numerous financial and software organizations in the UK, EU and US.
